Websites that wincustomers.

Built to be tested.
I'm a developer who spent five years inside the PPC, SEO, and ads industry. I know what a site has to do to win customers, and I write the kind of code that does it: fast enough to rank, sharp enough to convert, yours to own outright.
  • Lighthouse 95+ on live builds
  • Two-month warranty
  • You own everything

For five years I sat in the developer's seat of the marketing industry and watched the same thing on repeat: the ads worked, the site lost the customer.

The campaign was almost never the problem. The website underneath it was.

proof in daylight

Proof,

not promises.

Real businesses, real launches, public numbers. Click through, browse on your phone, run them through PageSpeed. That's the portfolio review I'd do.

Renovation contractor · 2026

MATCON Renovations

Georgina, Ontario

MATCON has renovated homes across the GTA and Kawartha Lakes since 2016, backed by a 5 year warranty and a $0 deposit model. They had the credentials. Their web presence didn't show any of it. I built a site that puts the proof up front and turns searches into quote requests.

Mammoth Scaffold

Aurora, Ontario · serving Ontario-wide

Mammoth erects scaffolding, shoring, and event structures across Ontario with Carpenters Local 27 and Local 18 crews. They bid on hospitals, industrial plants, and major events, and needed a web presence that could stand next to those bids. I gave them one, with a 24/7 emergency line wired through the whole site.

The edge · why MAKR

A developer with

the inside edge.

MAKR is a developer studio, not a marketing shop. The edge comes from where I've worked: 5+ years engineering the landing pages, tracking, and SEO tooling behind real ad campaigns. I watched what converts from the inside. Now I build every site that way by default.

Four things we refuse to compromise
  1. background01
    01

The inside edge, written in code.

Five years as a developer inside the PPC and SEO industry, building the landing pages, tracking, and search tooling real campaigns ran on. I watched exactly which sites make money. Now I only build that kind.

  2. performance02
    02

    Speed you can verify.

Slow sites lose people before the pitch lands. My live builds score in the high 90s on Lighthouse performance with zero layout shift. Public numbers. Run the test yourself. Tonight.

  3. ownership03
    03

    You own every last file.

Source code, domain, hosting, content, analytics. All of it transfers on launch day. Leave whenever you want and take everything with you. No hostage fees.

  4. trust04
    04

    Flat quotes. Straight answers.

A real price and a real timeline before I start, and a two-month warranty after launch. If something breaks, I fix it free. If you don't need me, I say so.

By the numbers · what to expect

Measured,not promised.

Speed and stability are measurable, so I measure them. These are not targets on a slide. They're what my live builds score right now.

the method · four steps

No mystery box.

Four steps to live.

  1. OP 01Intake

    One call. Zero sales script.

Twenty minutes or a short form. I learn what your business does, what a customer is worth to you, and quote it flat. If you don't need a new site, I tell you.

    step / 01next ↓
  2. OP 02Plan

    Structure before style.

Sitemap, copy direction, and the conversion path get locked first. What a visitor should do on each page, what Google needs to see, then how it all looks.

    step / 02next ↓
  3. OP 03Build

    Staging link in week one.

Hand-coded on a modern stack, no page builders. You watch the site come together on a private link and drop comments while I work.

    step / 03next ↓
  4. OP 04Launch

    Live, handed over, covered.

I launch, transfer full ownership, and stay on for two months of free fixes and tweaks. After that, growth services if you want them. Nothing is bundled by default.

after launch · the technical half

The site is the start.

Growth is the point.

The growth services that live in code, the kind I built for the ad industry for five years. Every one is optional and none are bundled by default. Add them when the site should start pulling its weight.

  • 01

    Technical SEO

Structured data, crawlability, Core Web Vitals, local landing pages. The half of SEO that lives in code, which is the half I've built for five years.

  • 02

    Analytics & tracking

Clean event tracking, real conversion goals, and a monthly report you can read in five minutes. Know exactly what the site earns you.

  • 03

    Hosting & care

I handle hosting, deploys, SSL, and uptime for a flat monthly fee. Optional. It's your code, host it anywhere.

  • 04

    Retainer

Ongoing edits, new sections, and content drops without re-quoting every ask. Send a Loom, I ship it.

The homework

Getting quotes from other studios? Run their last three builds through PageSpeed before you sign anything. Then run mine. Takes five minutes and tells you more than any pitch deck.

straight answers · up front

Straight answers,

up front.

  • Q 01Why are your prices lower than agency quotes?

No office, no account managers, no six week discovery phase. You work directly with me, the developer building your site, on a foundation I've already proven in production. You pay for the build, not the overhead.

  • Q 02Do you use WordPress or page builders?

No. Every site is hand-coded on Next.js, the framework used by Nike, OpenAI, and Netflix. That's why my builds score in the high 90s on Lighthouse while page-builder sites crawl. It also means no plugin updates, no security patches, nothing to babysit.

  • Q 03Are you a marketing agency?

No, and I won't pretend to be. I'm a developer. But I spent five years building the landing pages, tracking, and SEO tooling behind real ad campaigns, so every site ships with the search structure and conversion path a good campaign needs. If you want ads managed, I'll tell you what to look for in an agency, and your site will be ready for whoever runs it.

  • Q 04Who owns the website when it's done?

You do. Source code, domain, content, analytics. Everything transfers at launch. If you ever want to leave, you take it all with you.

  • Q 05How fast can you actually start and finish?

I can usually start within a week. Templated builds go live in 2 to 4 weeks, semi-custom in 4 to 6. You get a staging link in the first week either way.

  • Q 06What do you need from me?

A logo if you have one, photos of your work, and an honest description of what you do and who your best customers are. I handle the structure and everything technical, and I shape the page copy from what you give me.

  • Q 07What happens after launch?

Two months of free fixes and tweaks on every build, no fine print. After that you can host it yourself, or add hosting, technical SEO, analytics, or a retainer if you want the site actively working for you.

  • Q 08Can you fix my current site instead of rebuilding?

Sometimes. If a rescue costs more than a rebuild, I'll say so with numbers. Send me the URL and I'll tell you straight, free.
